We are now

OPEN for Visits

Good-To-Go-Logo.webp

All visits to the hangars by the public are organised by PRIOR arrangement ONLY and are *FREE!  Yes, Free.

We can now allow family bubble (1 car load of 6 people approx.) visits again.

HOW TO BOOK A TOUR

All applications must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the visit date. Normally we would prefer to bring in a Volunteer Tour Guide to make your visit and tour and *free tour more interesting.

A Volunteer Tour Guide – on their own time – would specifically drive to the hangars to meet you and your family if you create a booking, so please understand that from the outset. They will be there just for YOUR personal visit and you won't be sharing a tour with others.

Anyone wishing to visit with family, should make a booking via E-MAIL HERE.

There are 4 tour slots available daily (7 days) at 10.30am/11am and 2pm/2.30pm, and will last approximately 2 hours.

An E-mailed pre-booking MUST be made for all visits and we need the following:

 Date & Time Slot preferred

Number of Family members that will be visiting with you

your Car registration

your Contact Mobile Number

WHAT HAPPENS THEN?

Once you have e-mailed your Booking (the only way we will accept Bookings currently), we will contact you to confirm (either via E-mail or Mobile) your Booking, or if your preferred date & time are not available; we'll then ask you to select another convenient date & time instead.

We look forward to welcoming you to order hangars and Heritage collection.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Your family visit is FREE OF CHARGE, yes FREE, however the UAS survives on both donations and our volunteers' own time and energy. We hope you are inspired by what you see and experience and feel the aviation passion of volunteers. It is up to you how much you feel it was worth after the personal tour is over but we are very appreciative and welcome a donation afterwards.

You can leave a Secure Donation here via PAYPAL. Then simply type in the amount you wish to donate and leave us a Note to tell us you are, so we know who has donated. Many thanks in advance.

Important Notes to the Public hoping to visit us:

  • All applications must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the visit date.

  • Please note that family visits are only usually available between March and October. We are normally closed to any visitors between November~February due to winter conditions (as the hangars are extremely "baltic" cold during winter months).

We're now No.1 for ‘Things To Do In Lisburn’ on TRIP ADVISOR.  Why not write a Review*
