EHOD 2021 Weekend

The UAS are again going to be part of the EHOD Weekend of SATURDAY 11th ~ SUNDAY 12th SEPTEMBER, 2021 to give the public free access to our amazing pair of authentic Second World War aircraft hangars, plus we'll have some of the aircraft outside (weather-permitting).

Come and wander around or we will have some volunteer Tour Guides on-hand to take you around.

  • Hangar Opening Times: 10am – 5pm both days (SAT & SUN)

  • If the current NI restrictions continue past the end of July, then for the moment, we’ll say we’ll accept a maximum of 20 family bubbles* per hour (this may well be relaxed by the end of July / early August). We’ll have multiple volunteer Tour Guides on site both days all being well to help guide people around our two Second World War hangars, if they require.

  • We’ll have Indoor and hopefully Outdoor exhibits, although we’re currently constrained a little by the multi-million pound re-fit on the first of our huge hangar doors — but the other half of the hangar compound will be available.

  • We have extensive Car Parking now with our new parking facilities being made available directly outside our fence. Visitors will simply walk across to our gates and be directed from there

  • Hands, Face & Space will be order of the day indoors;  Hands & Space will be the order of the day outdoors; until times change as we all move forward to live with Covid.

*We consider a Family Bubble to be one “car” load (take your pick as to what the car’s size is though).

Balmoral Show 2021

Probably the biggest and most-anticipated Northern Ireland spectacle event that'll go ahead this year, post-Lockdown No.3 once the majority of the population receive their main pair of Covid-19 jabs (and 3rd Booster when they start), will be the Balmoral Show in late September 2021, on site here at Maze Long Kesh in Lisburn.

If all goes to Stormont's plan and new variants of Covid-19 don't return us to a Lockdown No.4, we're hoping to have a couple of our aircraft and Shop attending the show over the four days.

Like most of the population, we've fingers and toes crossed that the majority get their double jabs and that Covid takes a hike as there's a pent up demand for people to get out to a big event like this again. We can't wait to see you all.
