The UAS are again going to be part of the EHOD Weekend of SATURDAY 11th ~ SUNDAY 12th SEPTEMBER, 2027 to give the public FREE access for your family and friends to our amazing pair of authentic Second World War aircraft hangars.
Building on the record-breaking 12500 visitors during EHOD 2026 (up from 7200 in 2025) – seen by many as the largest EHOD weekend attraction within NI (having more than quadrupled in size in just 3 years) - the Ulster Aviation Society ('UAS') are again giving the public free access to their amazing pair of authentic Second World War hangars, raising awareness of the site's cultural significance and heritage, along with its educational benefit to the community.

We'll have many of our 55+ aircraft (including our recent acquisition, a Harrier Jump-jet) & vehicles outside in our compound again and some on display for the first time, providing family-friendly activities, whilst learning about the history of aviation in Ireland. Try out our Flight Simulators (we've now 7 of them!) and VR Headsets (we've 6 of them!) in our two Flight Sim & VR Suites.

We have extensive Car Parking (free), but expect LONG 15-20min queue once on site, so please be patient whilst our Volunteer Parking Marshals direct the traffic safely. Visitors will simply walk across from car parks, via middle Pedestrian gates (yellow signs) in Car Park 1, and tarmac path of Car Park 2 to our Welcome Marquee at the Main gates. Parking will involve a walk (100m) to the hangars, with a longer 300-400m walk possible if our overflow areas are required. Please follow the Event Signs and directions from our Disabled Parking (LIMITED SPACES!) will be available at the front of Car Park 1, or Car Park 2 for limited number of cars.
