Visits to the hangars by non-members are organised by PRIOR arrangement ONLY. Do NOT just arrive up.
We prefer family visits (10 people maximum), but we also accept Larger Group visits (11 up to not exceeding 40 people) by special arrangement.
A Volunteer Tour Guide – on their own time – would specifically drive to the hangars to meet your small group within each organised tour slot, so please understand that from the outset.

A TOUR
There are a couple of pre-booked tour slots available daily (7 days) at 11am and 2pm, and they will last approximately 2 hours. Additional slots are available on Saturdays only.

Please do NOT just arrive out of the blue. You will be turned away! You MUST book first please as the hangars are not always open.
An E-mailed Booking MUST be made for all visits and we need the following:

• Date & Time Slot preferred (please pick 3 dates for us to choose from)
• Number of Family members (10 people max.) that will be visiting with you
• your Car registration
• your Contact Mobile Number
Anyone wishing to visit with family, should make a booking at least 2 weeks prior via E-MAIL

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A family visit (10 people max.) is FREE OF CHARGE, yes FREE, however the UAS survives on both donations and our volunteers' own time and energy.
We hope you are inspired with what you see, experience and feel the aviation passion of volunteers.
It is up to you how much you feel it was worth after the personal tour is over but we are very appreciative and welcome a donation afterwards.

YES, we have secure Contactless Card facilities (via Zettle PayPal) at the hangars that can accept all Credit or Debit Cards / ApplePay / GooglePay, AMEX etc.

WHAT HAPPENS THEN?
Once you have e-mailed your Booking Request, our Visit Co-Ordinator, Ricci Coulter will contact you to confirm (either via E-mail or Mobile) your Booking, or if your preferred date & time are NOT available; we'll then ask you to select another TWO further dates & times instead.

I WANT TO BRING A LARGER GROUP TO THE HANGARS
With advanced pre-booking we are again, happy to accept bookings from larger groups (of 11 and not to exceed 40 people maximum) including schools, which has a booking fee.

Important Notes to the Public hoping to visit us:

All applications should be made at least 2 weeks prior to the visit date.

Please note that family visits are only usually available between March and October. We are closed to any visitors between November~February due to winter conditions (as the hangars are extremely "baltic" cold during winter months).
Notes to existing UAS Members:

Members are welcome all year round (especially Wednesdays and Saturdays).

Members may also arrange to bring their family too (by prior appointment). See above.

If you're not a member, you can JOIN the UAS for just £26 per year.
SAFETY WARNING — BEFORE BOOKING
If you have young children UNDER 8yo they *MUST* be closely supervised by you at all times, for their own safety and others! It is not a playground!
Our hangars and exhibits are not suitable at all for very young children.
We reserve the Right to ask anyone to Leave.
